Hello. I have the Google AC-1304 wifi setup in my house and it works great. I have a shop that is approximately 100ft from my house and I would love to extend wifi coverage out to it. Is it possible to use an ethernet cable to run from one point in the house to another point in the shop? Maybe utilizing the grey port on the wifi point? The distance doesn't allow for true wifi coverage from the house to the shop so wondering if there is a way to extend using the ethernet cable to bridge the distance.
Thanks,

Hello @stlrmike
You can use Ethernet to connect a Google WiFi unit in an outbuilding. However, the only reliable way to do this is to have that Ethernet connection start from the LAN port on the primary (router) Google WiFi unit, not on one of the secondary Google WiFi units. Here's a help article with a lot more details: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7215624?hl=en
