I have the older 2016 version of Google Mesh Wifi (3 pack devices) in my home...I'm an early adopter. My system is running Google Home v3.14.1.5 and my issue is trying to delete previously approved devices that are no longer in our network (for example, upgrading to new phones). These unused devices are listed in dark grey at the bottom of the DEVICES section...and listed as "offline."
I have clicked through every possible section, and I can not find any way to delete these previously approved products/items that are no longer in use (old phones, old tablets, etc that are discarded). I can rename them...but I can not find a way to delete these "OFFLINE" items through the Google Home app.
And yes...I have tried the way to do this as found online: "Tap and hold your device's tile. Tap Settings. Remove device. Remove." This does not work. Holding the device title does not bring up any "settings, " nor is any available. The only thing available is HELP and FEEDBACK located in upper right menu dots. Nothing provides a "settings" option to then delete the device listed as OFFLINE.
I consider myself very capable of following directions or online "How To," but these online directions do not provide the needed guidance. There is the HOME NETWORK SETTINGS section found at the bottom of the opening screen section of Google Home...but nothing in that section provides assistance in removing specific OFFLINE products.
Can you please help me delete and remove these "offline" items? Thank you!

Hi @LoneRanger
You aren't doing anything wrong! I just escalated this other post to our Community Specialists. I"m going to ping the specialist that replied to that thread.
The greyed out older devices aren't removable and they are supposed to roll off ~30 days. They currently aren't on my device either.
