Google Home App on iPad won't let me see WAN IP address

Hello,

When I use the Google Home App on my iPad, it will not allow me to see the WAN IP address. It just tells me that I need to ensure the mobile device is connected to my Wi-Fi network.

However, the device is connected to the Wi-Fi network.

I am able to do this on my Android phone that is also on the same network.

When I could not get the iPad to work, I turned off the cellular data connection and it still wouldn't work. I confirmed that no VPN was working. I also restarted the device and tried again, and it still didn't work.

I've attached screen shots showing that it won't work on iPad but will work on Android, along with the version numbers.

Might have to do with the things mentioned here:

Try those ^ suggestions, then try the Google Home app again?

I don't work for Google.

Thanks. I went through all the steps except restarting the Wi-Fi. Since the Android app has no issues accessing, this appears to be an issue with the iPad app, not with my Nest Wi-Fi. And I'd already restarted my Wi-Fi, anyway--I was using the iPad app to check on it.

Alright, I escalated the thread. Let's hope Google reps can solve it. 🙂
