I don’t see the correct issue category but I have a schedule set for devices in my home. One day I wanted to delay the start of that schedule so selected “Delay 30 min.” assuming the schedule would revert to the normal start time the next day. But, it appears that delay is permanent. Can any one confirm? If so, that makes nonsense. I understand wanting a one-off 30 min delay but if I want that everyday I would just adjust the schedule. I must be missing something. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to check in to see if you were still having this issue and to see if you have done any troubleshooting so far. If you still need help, let me know and I'll be happy to work on this with you.

Hi, Pnet.

I just wanted to check in once more to see if you saw my reply and to see if you still needed any help here. If so, just let me know.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I am not seeing how to attach a file but I have a schedule set to start at 11pm. As a test, yesterday (before it started), I delayed it by 30 minutes. Now today when I look at that schedule it still says “Starts at 11:30 PM”. When I delayed it yesterday I wanted that for only yesterday and assumed I wouldn’t see that today. Thoughts?

Hey, Pnet.

I'm doing some testing on my own and getting the same result as you are. I'll have to check with an internal team to see if this is intended behavior or some sort of bug. I can definitely see the use case for it only delaying a single time, so if that's not possible, it would be worth suggesting as a feature, I feel. I'll let you know what I can find out.

Thanks.

Thanks. If I wanted that delay to be permanent I would just change the schedule. Please let me know what you find. Thanks again

Hi, Pnet.

Sorry it's been a while since the last response. I wasn't able to find a way to separate the commands as you're looking to do, but I don't know if you noticed that yesterday a whole bunch of updates were announced for Assistant and how it will listen going forward. I'm hoping that these new features will give you the functionality that you're looking for here. I can definitely pass your comments along to our internal teams as well.

Thanks.

Thank you for following up. If you could pass this along to the internal teams I'd appreciate it. The fact that 'Delay 30 minutes' is a permanent change to the schedule seems counterintuitive IMHO. Thanks again
