Google Home: Network speed test fails

3 weeks ago BlueDevil1986 posted that his speed test had started failing, that his network speeds were OK and 3rd party speed tests OK, but that the speed test in Google Home always shows failed.

I have exactly the same problem. Normally runs daily but mine hasn't run since 8 October. Manual runs all fail. This is with my VPN on and off.
