Google Home app (iOS) displays Wifi as Offline, but it's not?

I have two Nest Routers and no matter what I do Google Home app (iOS) displays Wifi as Offline for both of them, but it's not? Touching their icon displays them as Online and connected. What's up with this?

I'm not using a VPN, not using Private Relay, and have turned IPv6 off and on several times.

Known issue, the Google Nest Wifi folks are aware, but no words of when we can expect a fix. You could try to simply refresh the Google Home home screen by pull down to refresh. Could also be worth trying to factory reset ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en ) then set up again ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301?hl=en ), reusing your existing network name (SSID) and password so wireless devices reconnects automagically.

I don't work for Google.

Hey dozens,

This has definitely been an odd problem that we've been looking into. I'm sorry it's been frustrating for you. Have you tried out the solutions that olavrb shared above? If so, have you seen any changes?

Thanks,

Jeff

I have tried factory resetting the whole system twice, which both times resulted in it appearing as working and all good.... only to fail again within the hour.

Hey dozens,

Sorry that the resets aren't working for you. In addition to the resets, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Home app? Your settings will be saved, and as soon as you log into the app after installing again, they'll be restored. If you haven't tried that, give a try and see if that helps.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi dozens,

I just wanted to check back in real fast to see if you tried the Home app reinstallation and to see if that had any impact for you. If you've tried that and aren't seeing any changes, please let me know.

Thanks,

Jeff

Yes, I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice and it has not remedied the issue. The wifi (both Nests) still displays as Offline.

Hi again dozens,

It's been a while since we visited this problem and I wanted to come back and check in. We've had both app and hardware updates since we last looked at this, and I wanted to see if you were still seeing the same problem or to see if things smoothed out with the recent updates. If you're still having issues, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

It seems an update somewhere along the line has fixed this issue. Thank you.
