I have had a Google Nest Wifi - AC2200 - Mesh WiFi System with one extra Point running for the last two year with great success. About 3 weeks ago I suddenly started loosing packets (at times about 45% loss)and the whole network slowed down. If I unplugged everything for about 10 minutes, it all came back and was running just fine. I had Xfinity come out and test and they could not find any problems. After many, many hours of frustration and testing I finally removed the extender point and the system started running just fine again. I have since replaced the Point with a new one and it works great. I am scared to try the old point again as it really messed up my system as run about 75 devices and many had to be reset when I changed the point.
I have years of IT and Internet experience and this one really stumped me. Remember, each time I tried something and then restarted the network it might work for anywhere between one and three hours.
I hope this might help someone else

I ran ping tests before replacing it between 10 and 50% packet loss. If I shut it down for an hour and maybe let it cool off, then restarted it, it would run good for anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes then start failing again.
Since replacing it with a new one, I have had no issues for about a week now.
Thanks for getting back to me
