Google Nest Wifi and Google Wifi router as access point and using an Ethernet to connect a printer

I am working on setting up my Google Nest Wifi and I happened to buy the Google Nest Wifi 2 pack and an additional Google Wifi Router (which I thought was an additional access point).  Set up was easy as I connect 1 Google Nest Router to my modem and then the second Google Nest Router, acting as an access point and then installed the Google Wifi Router, acting as an access point.  The home is 3 stories, the modem is on the second floor but unfortunately in the master bedroom.  The set up is fine, strong signal, very fast and much more dependable than TP Link.

My problem is that I have an older HP LaserJet Office printer that connects via WPA, which is not supported.  The office is on the third floor and it would be nearly impossible to run an ethernet cable to the modem.

If I take the Google Wifi Router, acting as an access point, running wirelessly on the third floor, could I connect the printer directly to the Google Wifi Router, acting as an access point, using an ethernet cable?

Before I go ahead and try it, I thought that I would ask for some insight.

Yes, that would work. Either Nest Wifi router or Google Wifi, just not a Nest Wifi add-on point as it has no ethernet ports.
