Google WIFI in bridge mode?

Kay_Habibi

I just got my google Wifi Gen 1 (3 Pieces).
I set up one and connected to my main router in Bridge mode.
While i was doing a physical hard reset on the second and third plucks, they automatically connected to my Primary Google Wifi in bridge mode, without any authentication, right after reset.
That was a shocker and a security risk for me, i havent even added them to my google home app.
How can this happen?

Hey @Kay_Habibi .

Were the second and third pucks connected via Ethernet to the primary device when you attempted a hard reset?

No. Wireless

Thanks @Kay_Habibi .

I'm not sure the circumstances around why the points were connected prior to adding them outside of being a previously used device, but that is just speculation.

The following should help you do a full rest of the devices so you can set them up: Factory reset your Wifi device

Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance.
