My internet from my regular router could be working fine but as soon as I plug in my Google WiFi Pro into it's DSL port, it disconnects the internet straight away. Does anyone have any solution for this? I am with Eir in Ireland.

Nest Wifi is not a modem, it needs an internet connection delivered through an RJ-45 ethernet cable. See prerequirements in the setup guide:

If you wonder how to use a 3rd party router with your ISP Eir, ask your ISP or search their website. If your ISP box also acts as a router, it's recommended to put it in bridge mode to avoid double NAT. More on that:
