Google Wifi mesh no internet connection

Hi ,

I am unable to set up my Google wifi mesh router. It gives me the following error 

Checking Internet Connection This won’t take long”.  Then it says:  ”Connection issue. The modem isn’t giving your WiFi point an internet connection…” and invites me to restart the network.

Pls let me know how to fix it

Hi, I got someone from support to walk thru the installation, and it worked.

I'm not sure exactly what the issue was initially, but I think I had connected an internet phone line to the modem, in addition to the wifi router, when I was setting up initially, and it may have confused the modem and router.

Try unplugging everything and follow the instructions one step at a time. 

Also try calling support. They're great.
