Google home update wiped all Wifi

My Google home updated without noticed and suddenly everything is inaccessible. This happens about 20 minutes ago with no notice.

I unplugged the main Wifi puck for 60 seconds and plugged back in. After flashing blue for about a minute it went back online and the rest of the APs eventually reconnected after about 10 minutes. 

still really annoyed that Google initiated this update without my permission and at a random time with no notice.

I’m not sure if this the same issue but my smart clock and smart plugs suddenly don’t work. Have tried everything but my Lenovo smart clock says “check internet connection”.  Router has been rebooted and checked, clock was set back to factory settings and reinstalled, google home device was rebooted but still nothing.  Some folks are saying to check the device WiFi setting on google home but I can’t find in my new looking google home app. Can anyone help me?

@Leacc, I'm checking in if you still need assistance. Please uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app and see if that resolves the issue. Rebooting your phone might also help.
