Google mesh not allowing connections.

Since setting up my Google network, I have not been able to visit certain websites (like my city’s utility billing system) and I cannot send text message images to android phones. When I turn off the WiFi, these things work. Is there a setting I am missing?? This is really frustrating.

Hey, Ahsargent.

I'm sorry for the issues you're having with some websites not working properly on your WiFi network. That sounds like a frustrating issue. Let's take a look at this and get it worked out for you.

I do have some questions that should help us narrow down the problem.

  • How is your WiFi network wired? Typically it's set up in a way that goes from your ISP modem directly to your Google WiFi router.
  • Have you spoken with your ISP about certain sites not displaying?
  • Have you tried using Google's DNS servers? If you don't know what that is, that's ok, I can explain in our next steps.

If you can let me know a little more, we can get this fixed for you. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.
