After having my Google nest point have a white shining light for weeks on ends I finally reset it factory reset; then like many others it would not rejoin and the code on the bottom was not recognized. After much effort, Tom at Google support helped get the answer which was that we had to factory reset both points that were on the network before it would allow anyone to come back on. We had a problem , that you need to be aware of as well my Google phone a six a would not work. There was some technical problem with the app on the six an and only the Apple iPad. Google Home app worked. Bizarre, but it was a two prong problem to then get the network working again, and the two points added back on. This is all because of a white light that started flashing and wouldn’t stop and he would come on every night around seven.
