Google nest wifi - changing isp

Hello, I currently have a Google nest wifi and point set up in my house working with a virgin media modem/router and everything works fine. In a couple of days I'll be switching to BT for FFTTP. Will I be about to just connect it straight to the ONT or will I need to do a factory reset on the nest WiFi and start from scratch again? I'm not very knowledgeable on these things so just assume I'm an idiot 😂

Hello AG40s,

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

We highly suggest factory resetting and setting up your Google Nest Wifi router and points before connecting to your new ISP to lessen the chance of issues. You may use the current Wi-Fi name and password you have so that the devices in your network will automatically connect to it.

Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Lovely
