Google wifi don’t connect to smart plug 2.4 g

How to connect a smart plug 2.4 g with my google because the band is 5 g?  Sorry for my poor English.

The WiFi SSID is both 2.4 and 5GHz. So probably best to reach out to the smart plug company to see if they got a solution.
