Google wifi ethernet connection

Hi!

Can you use a google wifi point to provide a connection via ethernet to a device if the google wifi point is only connected via WiFi to a router? I currently have a Nest mesh system, but one of my devices is hard to reach and can only connect via ethernet.

Hello @Jokasjervi

Yes, you should be able to add a Google WiFi unit as a "point" to your Nest WiFi system and use its Ethernet ports for nearby devices. It should be close enough to the primary Nest WiFi Router unit to get a strong 5GHz connection for itself, though.

Yes I saw it, I'm deciding if I should buy one to solve a wired connection to a device instead of placing a wire through the whole house.

So if this works it's ideal!
