Hello,
I have the Home Hub 4000/Giga Hub (Modem/router), which comes with Bell internet. I tried to set it up as bridge but this modem does not have the option to use it as bridge, instead bell recommends the following:
Connect the Ethernet in one of the LAN ports in the Hub modem and the other end with the WAN port in the google WIFI router. Then, go to the Google WIFI configuration and set it to PPPoE. Bell provided a User ID and pwd to complete the setup. The first problem I encountered is that the PPPoE option is not available in the Google WIFI. I reset the google router to factory config but still no luck.
Does anybody have instructions on how to do this?
I used the information from the link below, but the PPPoE option is not available.

Hi Diego_S,
Thanks for posting and apologies for the delay.
Usually, we recommend that you bridge the modem/router given by your ISP. If it cannot be done, then your Google Wifi router will become the second network. These are now considered two networks.
Let’s make sure we narrow things down to know exactly what steps to take.
For additional information about bridge mode, open this link: bridge mode.
I look forward to your response.
Best,
Dan

Hi. Thank you for your answer. I've found all type of answers regarding this issue I have.
First of all, answers to your questions:
Regarding other options I've found online:
1. Use the PPPoE feature in the Google wifi => I did not have any luck with this because in order for the PPPoE to become available in the google wifi, I have to disable the DHCP function in the Bell hub. I want to try something simpler before making changes to the Bell hub settings.

Hi Diego_S,
There are certain features or settings that may or may not work depending on the availability and compatibility of your Home Hub modem/router combo.
Since this is already involving the availability of PPPoE credentials, it would help a ton if you could reach out to your ISP about this and get back to us on any news. Let’s go from there.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Dan
