I am trying to edit an existing group in my google home app on iOS. I would like to select a set of devices to pause their internet. When I edit the group a long list appears. Some of which are identifiable by name. Some have no name, “unknown device”. And some are slightly grayed out. The device I want to select is grayed out but can be selected. Once I select it and hit next an error is returned. Is there a way to refresh this list or somehow force the selection to work?

Hey there Jdot89,

I apologize about the late response, I appreciate your patience! Are you still having issues with those devices in the Google Home app? If you are, let me just ask some questions about the problem:

  • Are you referring to speaker groups?
  • Are those gray devices connected to your Wi-Fi network?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
  • What is the error message that you are getting?

The steps I can give depend on how you answer the questions above, so I look forward to your response! Also, if you had any more questions or concerns for me, please ask!

Best regards,

Jeran
