I am a Infiniti cable internet subscriber and I’m using their gateway along with my new GOOGLE NEST pods (x4) that I purchased from Costco.
My question is how do I know that the units are working as they are supposed to? PODS light up first with a solid BLUE light, then a WHITE light stays on. Do the POD lights need to stay blue? Or, is the white lights indicating the pods are connected accordingly?

The light from your Google Nest WiFi or Google WiFi device shows the status of your device. Different colors and pulses will indicate how your device is performing. You could click on this link to learn more about this.
