How to Add Existing Google Mesh to Google Home?

When I originally set up my Google Mesh WiFi system, I used the Google Home app on my iPhone. That was three iPhones ago, and somehow that network has been removed from the current Google Home account I have. It still recognizes the home I created, but there are no WiFi Mesh units listed.

I tried to add a device to no avail. The animated shapes jump and flip for a minute or so, then turn grey and flop. Then it keeps returning to the menu asking what type of device I want to add.

Am I going to have to return my access point units to their factory setting and rebuild the network from scratch? Of course, my fear is that if I return them to their factory setting that the Google Home app won’t recognize them and then I’ve lost my home WiFi.

My reason for wanting to control the Google Mesh is that I want to add another access point.

Yep, sounds like a "factory reset and set up from scratch" situation.

I don't work for Google.
