Hi
My internet router provided by isp is a Huawei Pro 2. I have my google nest WiFi pro connected to it via an Ethernet cable and I am using Google nest WiFi pro as my main router at home.
the problem i am facing is that my internet keeps disconnecting while google WiFi is connected to my pro 2. I was advised by my internet provider to disconnect google WiFi and my internet will be stable. I tried that and the internet became stable.
my question is, is there any compatibility issue between Huawei Pro 2 as internet provider and google nest WiFi pro as a router? And is there anything I could do to fix the issue?
thank you

Have you tried removing your ISP router and connecting your incoming line directly to your primary Nest Wifi Pro?
If that doesn't work, and you need to keep your Huawei Pro 2, you'll likely need turn off the Wifi on your ISP router and put it into bridge mode. If you're not sure how to do that, refer to the manufacturer's support website or documentation.

Thank you for your follow up
i found an option in the google nest WiFi setting where I can follow my ISP DNS setting. I selected that and it seems that solved the problem.
I will try it for a few days and let you know otherwise.

hi
i have another issue I hope you could help me with. I have a harmony hub and a piper security camera. Both are connected to the google nest WiFi Pro. However, they keep disconnecting. And when I restart my google WiFi, they reconnect again automatically. After a while, they get disconnected again.
is there a solution for this?

Hello Aymanai,
If you haven't already, factory reset your Harmony Hub and Piper security camera before configuring them on your Wi-Fi network. You can set a static address for both devices if they still disconnect from your mesh system.
Awaiting for your response.
Cheers,
Lovely
