I've seen that in this forum, someone said it's possible but I've tried and it always tries to connect to the routers' wifi network and it fails because it doesn't have internet access (it's not connected to WAN ethernet)
How can I do this? Google support told me it's impossible

Yes. You'd set one up as the main router, and then when you choose to add another device, the Home app will automatically set it up as a 'point'.

Thanks for the advice. I tried just this but it kept trying to connect to the internet when configuring the second router as a point. What I ended doing is plugging it in while it was configuring and then connected the main router again.
At this point it appears to be working 100%, I've tested the mesh and its quality it's excellent. My only concern is that the router acting as a point has the white led in a pulsing way, it's not 100% solid as the main router. Should I be worried about this?

I'm not sure if there's reason to worry yet, sabanito if things are working well, but let's watch it for a few days to see how things go. The network will route traffic through the points and make changes to keep things running as optimally as possible, but let's keep an eye on it for now and if things stay stable, we'll call it good.
Thanks.

Hi again, sabanito.
I'm just checking in to see if things were still running well or to see if you've had any additional issues. Hopefully things are still working out!
Thanks,
