I want to open an IPv6 port for a host which has a statically assigned IPv6 address within the public subnet. Currently in Google Homes Advanced Networking -> Port Management choosing to add a port and selecting devices from IPv6 does not list devices which were statically assigned. There is no option to add a device and its IPv6 address if it is not already listed.
How can I open a port to a host which uses a statically assigned IPv6 address?

How did you set stativ IPv6? According to the guide on DHCP reservation on Nest Wifi, using said feature in a prerequirement to port forwarding.
DHCP reservation guide says nothing about IPv6 though.
I'll escalate the thread in hope of getting some clarity.

Hi Illuminatus,
Sorry for the delayed response. Please ensure that your Google Home app is updated to the latest version. Reboot your entire network for 2 minutes before trying to open a port.
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Lovely

Hey Illuminatus,
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps that I suggested? Let me know if that did the trick or not, so we can try something else.

I see a different interface, like the firmware was updated. I do not see any changes to adding IPv6 ports.
What were you expecting to change that would allow new functionality to set this up?

How did you set stativ IPv6?
On the device behind the Nest WiFi I configured multiple IPv6 addresses.
According to the guide on DHCP reservation on Nest Wifi, using said feature in a prerequirement to port forwarding.
- DHCP reservation: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6274660?hl=en
Configuring a DHCP reservation for IPv6 is not supported, this is only for IPv4. Open the reservation menu and only the 192.168.86.0/24 (or the LANs IPv4 subnet) is presented to reserve an IP.
- Port forwarding: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6274503?hl=en
Following the Port Opening specific steps ends on Step 5 Select a device, as the device is not listed in the IPv6 menu and there is no way to add a device by entering its IPv6 address manually.
