Has anyone had success installing a Google mesh WiFi puck in a plastic structured wire enclosure? I would like to try to put the primary puck in a new home that has a Legrand On-Q enclosure in a central coat closet. Thoughts? Success stories? Bad idea?
Oh okay so you mean like a communications cabinet I actually have one of these in my home as well however it was poorly placed as it's in the basement and it's directly beside the circuit breaker and all of the channels with the coax cables ethernet cables and more so there was a lot of interference for me and I ended up moving it out of that cabinet quite quickly. If your communications cabinet isn't located near your circuit breaker and lots of wiring that's active then you should be fine however if there is a lot of wiring in that cabinet you may run into the same issues I did.
