Good day, all.
II have had my Google Wi-Fi for quite some time and have been pretty happy with it.
As I'm getting older, and more suspicious 😉, I would like to know what all of the devices on my network are without having to go through the process of unplugging each item and plugging it back in after checking and or matching up the Mac addresses. I have many home automation devices like switches and plugs and it would just be too cumbersome to track each one.. Many of them just say device.

It's up to the device manufacturer to determine how a device advertises itself. But you can edit the name label for each device yourself, just open the device in Google Home and tap its name, type whatever you want.
