Issues with Google Wi-Fi point

Hello, I've just spent >2hrs trying to add a 4th google Wi-Fi point into my home

mesh - so I have a total of 3 points and I've bought an as-new eBay 4th point. 

Ive factory reset it many times. I've deleted and reloaded the app onto my iPhone. 

Ive factory reset the entire marsh and rebuilt it with a new name and password, added the 2 extra point in and the original 3 points now work perfectly again. 

I am doing/seeing:

I confirm: Add

I confirm: Nest device or another option Nest router (I've tried selecting both of these multiple times - no joy)

I confirm: Home

Searching

Google Wi-Fi found

Preparing mesh

I confirm: Goggle home wants to join set up (and then the unique device name)

Connecting to Wi-Fi

Unable to join the device set up (and then the unique device name)

I've tried everything, multiple times, same result 'Unable to joi....'

Has anyone any ideas as to what I may be missing - or is it possible there is a fault with the new point I have bought (it looks unused, no dents,light use and identical in every way to my original 3 points).

This sounds like a classic case where the 4th Wifi point you've bought is not designed for the same country/region as your existing Wifi points, so you're experiencing setup/compatibility problems. There are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

If those don't prove fruitful, then it's likely that what I said above is the issue, or as you say it could be that the device is faulty.
