Hi JW-LE,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry that you're having trouble setting up your Google Mesh Network. I understand how frustrating this can be. I'm here to help.
Before I begin, I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:
What operating system are you using while setting up your Google device? (Android or iOS)
Have you tried connecting the Google Point in a closer location and then moving it to the location where it will be working?
What model of Google router or point are you trying to set up?
Is the Google Home app giving you any specific error code during setup?
Please keep me posted. I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
I have a Nest Wifi Router, model H2D. The other devices are corresponding Nest Wifi Points. The mesh network had already worked with my old internet connection. I had a different router in front of it back then. Now I'm using the Nest Wifi Router directly and have entered the internet provider's access data there. However, the Points no longer connect as a mesh with the router. There is no error message, it just gets stuck at the step where the device tries to install itself as a mesh. I'm using a Pixel 8 Pro for setup. The devices are also close enough to each other.
Best regards,

Hi JW-LE,
Thank you for your response and all the information provided. Let's work together for a solution.
For your concern, please try the below steps:
If you have already managed to configure your main Google router, we must make sure that if your internet provider has left you a modem-router combo, you can disable the router function of that device to prevent it from creating interference in your internet network and only use 1 network, which will be the network that your Google Nest WiFi router has configured.
Then do the following on your Google Nest WiFi Points: Here's an article to guide you through factory resetting your device: Factory reset your Wi-Fi device. I've also included this article on how to properly configure your network: Set up Nest Wifi Pro or Nest Wifi. Please follow the instructions in these articles carefully. If you're still having trouble after the reset and network configuration, let me know. If possible, try the setup process on another phone or tablet.
Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.
Regards,
Kevin
