My speedtest on nest and laptop is fine, but android boxes are really slow

Hi folks

I have this odd thing on my Google nest where a speedtest on my laptop, and the Nest themselves, is fast (ie. 10 ping, 97Mbps) but the several android boxes (Mi Box and Mi stick) are sometimes equivalently fast, but other times significantly slower.  Currently, all 3 Android boxes tested are around 30 ping, and 23Mbps.  On the same wifi network as my laptop, which is fast!

Appreciate any suggestions.  As I said, other times works fine, but currently driving me crazy, as streaming is terrible.
