WiFi was sluggish yesterday so I rooted modem and router, system down ever since. I’ve reset google mess router to factory settings. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the google home app and went through the setup process numerous times.
The problem is the app never finds my google mess router or either one of the mesh access points. It finds other devices my neighbors must have, but not my network.
Spectrum modem works great at 348 DL 12 UL
I spoke to Spectrum, no outages or problems on there end.
The google Mesh WIFI system has been working OK, but not what I would expect in. 900 SF 2 story apartment (the system is 2 months old)
the router displays the white light at reboot, then goes to fading yellow light after 10 seconds.
any assistance would be appreciated

I had the same problem as JMFlaco. Tried factory reset on the nest wifi system and also thru the app... With no luck went and rented a wifi6 router from spectrum to make it functional...
Nest WiFi after resetting, reinstalling home app showing "Connecting failed". Any help would be appreciated as well. thanks in advance.

@AbigailF - Yes I rented a router. BUT interestingly I was able to get my nest Wi-Fi working by installing Google home in my IPad for some reason reinstalling the software in my mobile didn’t work but installing and adding in another brand new device worked. Weird !

Spoke to spectrum again yesterday. The tech “reset” the spectrum modem due to a partial activation setting in my account? I performed the manual reset option on the google nest router. (You tube it) this time I was able to see the google nest router and points in the google app. I don’t think resetting the modem was the reason though.
nope. same behavior on the google nest router. Removed the google nest router and set up my original Netgear router again. Works as designed but back to 98 DL again lol. Returning the nest system I guess.
