Nest Router in bridge mode speed is 990 mbps but Nest access point 50 ft away is 50 mbps

Recently upgraded my xfinity modem to 1 gig and put it into bridge mode to connect to my Nest Mesh system.  The Nest Router speed tests show it has 990 mbps but Nest access point on wifi 25 ft away is 50 mbps.  Anyone know what to change to resolve?

My wife and I with WFH cannot be on zoom at the same time and we see bandwidth drops to 10-15 mbps at times.

Super frustrating and dissapointing.

Any help would be fab.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the speed of your Google Wifi point. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

• Have you tried doing a mesh test? What's the result?
• Are there any devices near the point that could cause interference?
