Daily, I have been following multiple threads (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/Google-Nest-Wifi-Pro-point-needs-to-be-restarted-pe..., https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/Wifi-Pro-drops-matter-bulbs/m-p/612765, https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/No-casting-and-Wireless-Printing/m-p/613467) here, on Reddit, etc.
Consistent issues have been reported by Nest Wifi Pro users related to HomeKit, Thread, Matter, and AirPrint printers since the release of 3.73.406133.
For the last few months, others and I have restarted our Nest Wifi Pro(s), often several times a day, to deal with the continuous issues since this update.
- What is the status of the update to remedy all of these issues?

Same here. My printer is available and selectable on AirPrint one day and then not the next day. Doesn’t matter if I am AirPrinting from my MacBook or my iPhone, my printer is not found in AirPrint. Let’s get this figured out!

I appreciate you reaching out but we’ve all filled out this form and the feedback forms in the google home app and repeatedly have been told there is a fix on the way for the last few months. Still no word on this fix…

Hi @burroudc,
Thanks for letting us know you've filled out the feedback form!
That information is very helpful and will help us continue to improve.
Have you had a chance to contact your AirPrint manufacturer to see if they're aware of any known issues with your printer model? They may have troubleshooting tips or updates available.
Regards,
Mario.

Just as an fyi to those following this thread and the others - today the Google Home iOS app was updated and Google quietly removed the ability to reset individual Nest Wifi Pro Routers or to view their Software version. I'm assuming this is due to all the complaining about this particular software update for the routers (3.73.406133) since April. Kind of a sketchy move on their part - although I do see they have yet to update their own Nest support docs - https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6273871?hl=en.

I’m having the same issue - no AirPrint with MacBooks and iPhones. What is more frustrating is we got Google Fiber a few weeks back and have not killed Spectrum WiFi yet. AirPrint works fine if I shift those devices to Spectrum. It’s the Google Fiber/Nest hubs. I looked to see if there was a software update needed but as noted it doesn’t show the software version.
I don’t know if this issue is the Google Fiber network or only Google WiFi Nest devices. I’m assuming the latter. I may try subbing in out ASUS router if I can find resolution. It’s bad when Spectrum looks good in comparison. We aren’t going to kill Spectrum until we see this resolves. Printing is kinda important.

Just this evening I had to reset my entire network 4x before my HomeKit, printer, and other devices would start working again. This is insane. We’ve been dealing with dozens of these threads and complaints since the end of April. Please quit asking for more feedback and fix these issues.

I am having the same issue. After this recent update Matter devices over thread will not stay connected and start showing as open to pair (never an issue before). Google Home devices lose network connectivity (never an issue before) and complain about the lack of wifi despite being in the same location for years. Network speeds start to slow from 200+ Mbps on wifi down to sub 20 for devices in a fixed location. Restarting the network resoalves all these issues for a few days before they return. It's not an ISP issue, I have detailed monitoring on my Internet service and never have any problems with the wired LAN or WAN.

I’m at my wits end with this issue. I have been very happy with my Nest Wi-Fi Pro up until this issue. My HP Printer uses AirPrint and since the update I will see “No AirPrinters found” The only way to remediate the issue is to restart the network. This week I started to look for alternative Wi-Fi solutions. I’m really disappointed.
