Nest WiFi Pro PPPoE dialup

Can the new Nest WiFi Pro do a PPPoE dialup just like the old Google WiFi did?

I’m looking to upgrade speed and coverage, but want to make sure I don’t need an extra router for the dialup.  My existing Google WiFi dials up just fine (fiber connected to a transceiver, connected directly to Google WiFi).

Hi OS80,

The setup process is the same with the new Nest WiFi Pro and it supports the same setup options as previous generations. The transition should be pretty much seamless for you if you choose to upgrade, but take note that the new WiFi Pro is not compatible with Google WiFi, so you won't be able to mix points and routers from the two systems. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

I have a VDSL connection (Vodafone UK) and I can not get the PPoE connection to work, is it possible to do with the Nest Pro?

Hi Bungla,

I suggest reaching out to your ISP to check if there are settings that needs to be configured to have the PPPoE enabled.

Best,

Mel
