I have a 4 point Nest WiFi Pro setup in my house. To improve my signal further we decided to hardwire ethernet to each access point Nest Pro in addition to the primary router. All ethernet cables are Cat6. The current layout is as follows:
Modem (Netgear CM600) -> Nest WiFi Pro -> Switch (TL-SG108-M2) -> WiFi Pro (x3).
The Pro acting as the modem has a very strong signal and tests with >700Mbps download but the Nest WiFi points are still reporting only "Weak" to "Good" connection and list WiFi connection as "wireless" rather than wired.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you disconnect the 3 Wifi points and connect a laptop to the switch does it get an internet connection? (i.e. this tests if those cables are working correctly). If so, you can try resetting those Wifi points and setting them up again?

The laptop connects to the switch and speeds tested there range from 450-550Mbps so I don't appear to be losing much signal along the length of the cable. I'll try resetting the Wifi points and setting them up again and report back.
**Update**: I've factory reset the wifi points and gone through the setup again but still with no signs of the points recognizing the ethernet connection. Each site still says "wireless" under the wifi connection status and the speeds I get from devices nearest the points ranges from 30-60Mbps

Hello @Ryan4rd
Can you remove the switch from your system completely (just long enough for one test)? I mean, disconnect it from all of the Nest WiFi Pro units. Then, connect one of the secondary Nest WiFi Pro units directly to the LAN Ethernet port on the primary/router Nest WiFi Pro unit and see if it shows as being "wired". That switch is fairly new, and it doesn't appear to be a smart/managed variety, but the description of the symptoms here match what I would expect from using a smart/managed switch that has loop detection enabled. I have seen a few unmanaged switches that include that feature (which is the worst case, since it can't be disabled on them). If connecting a secondary directly to the primary without a switch in between works, then I would try adding the switch back in, but with nothing else connected to (except one secondary) and test again. If that doesn't work, then, honestly, I'd replace the switch with a simpler 1Gbps model that definitely doesn't include loop detection. But, if it does work, then I'd add one more secondary at a time and check in between each change. If you get all of that working, then start adding more of your wired devices (and check again each time).

Thanks for the advice, however, even with direct connection between the first router and any second router I'm still only seeing them connect wirelessly to each other. Seemingly the same way as when the switch is incorporated as the speeds I'm seeing at each wifi point remain similar to previous speeds

Ok, I wouldn't focus on speeds just yet – first focus on getting one secondary connected directly to the primary showing as "wired" in the Google Home app. Use a known-good, short cable (move that secondary into the same room as the primary/router unit just for testing). You can use either the WAN or LAN port on the secondary (but pick one and stick to it – if you want to switch, power off the secondary first just to be safe).

Any updates on this issue? I got a new nest wifi pro 3 pack and was dealing with the same issue all day today.

Sorry but I ultimately sold all the Nest routers and moved to a Netgear system. I plugged in all the same Ethernet cables and devices and found no issues with the wired back haul or setup. After multiple resets of the Nest devices, and no changes or progress, I ultimately was too fed up with the lack of resolution and decided to jump ship.
I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully you won't continue to have the issues I did
