Has anyone else had terrible performance and connectivity issues with their nest home pro? This was supposed to be such an awesome setup but I want to throw it in the trash.

Same here. I have 2. One up and one down. Both were connected in the beginning and then the upstairs went offline and I can't get it back online at all. Also, it has powered down and probably needs a new battery. Will they exchange it for a new one?
