Nest Wifi Pro Router Connection Problem com.google.CastFramework.Setup.Lib.CastSetupError error 0

I got a new modem (switched to Bell Gigahub). I cannot connect the Google Nest Wifi Pro router. I can get through all the steps, but once I have created a wifi network name and password, I get the following error message:

 

Cannot Complete Setup (com.google.CastFramework.Setup.Lib.CastSetupError error 14.)

 

I have tried the following:

  • Factory reset Google router
  • Uninstalled and re-installed Google Home on my iPhone
  • Restarted iPhone
  • Turned off modem and google nest router for 30 seconds and then plugged back in

 

Still no dice! Please help.

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you cannot connect the Google Nest Wifi Pro router. Help's here!

 

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • Do you use a modem and router combo?
  • How many Nest Wifi Pro do you have?
  • Is this the first time you have experienced this type of inconvenience?
  • What's the light color on the unit?
  • Is the Ethernet cable from the modem plugged into the teal port on the Wifi device?
