Nest Wifi Pro router connection - no 12V slot available

I purchased a nest becaue it was supposed to be super easy to set up. Unfortunately, I'm stumped at my first action...my Spectrum-provided router needs the only 12V slot on it for its own power source, so i can't connect my Nest Wifi pro to it as directed. Is there a workaround or do I just need to send it back?

Hi Gaily,

Thanks for posting, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Just so we’re on the same page, are you referring to your Spectrum-provided router not having the 12V slot for the power to run through, or are we talking about your Nest Wifi Pro router? Is your Spectrum device a modem/router combo? Check out the helpful link below on how to setup your Nest Wifi Pro:

Set up Nest Wifi Pro or Nest Wifi.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Dan
