The indicator light turns off and there is no internet for about less than 5 minutes and then it fixes itself. In the Google Home App, it doesn't show that the internet is down. I assume that the router itself turns off for a bit but I'm not exactly sure.

Does the Nest Wifi unit get very hot/ warm when this happens? We don't know if overheating is an issue yet, but it could be. It's also mentioned by these users:

Possibly, although I think it's at least warm all the time.

I forgot to ask, which Nest Wifi model do you have? The new Nest Wifi Pro, or the older Nest Wifi router? More info on the various models here:

The older nest wifi router

Ah, then overheating is even less likely.
I'd try to factory reset all Nest Wifi units ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en ) and set them up from scratch ( https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301?hl=en ). Reuse the network name (SSID) and password, then all your devices should reconnect automatically.
If the same thing happens after that, and the LED light actually powers of when it happens, it sounds like a defective unit or maybe power adapter to me.
