Nest Wifi point won't join existing Google Wifi network

I purchased a new Nest Wifi point to join my existing Google Wifi network but after going through all the setup steps it fails at the "Adding to your network" step.

The Nest Wifi point was purchased through the Irish Google online store. The existing Google Wifi points were a gift so I'm not sure if they were purchased in another region.

Thanks!

Hi, robdonn.

Sorry for the setup issues you're having with your new Nest WiFi point. I know it can be frustrating to have pieces of the network not working properly. Let's get this fixed for you.

To be sure, however, you're in Ireland where you're setting up this network? I ask because Google WiFi is supported currently in Ireland, but the Nest WiFi is not. As of right now the Nest WiFi has UK support, but not Ireland. If you were able to purchase it on the Google Store in Ireland, was it shipped to an Irish address?

Let me know the particulars there and I'm sure we can figure out what needs to be done next. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.

Hey, robdonn.

I'm just checking in real fast to see if there's anything else you needed or if you were able to work this out. If you still need some help, just let me know and I'll be happy to keep working with you.

Thanks.

Hi, everyone.

As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.

Thanks
