Nest Wifi poor range poor setup

Hi guys, I'm sorry as this will end in a rant as I am shocked at just how bad these google products are.

My google home speakers are unbelievably unreliable, in a last ditch effort (after a lot of investment in googles devices) I thought I would buy nest Wifi to ensure that the speakers are at least connecting to a wifi network that can handle the amount of devices I have connected.

Oh boy, first of all I thought it would be easy. Surely when you add a nest wifi to the google home app it would change the wifi settings for all the other devices on the network, or at least there was a special setup for nest wifi to select which google devices you wanted to connect to it.

No. They all need to be re-set up as if they were new devices.....WOW, what a ridiculous oversight this is, what are they thinking!!

Ok, I thought, lets try connecting the furthest away device (a home speaker in the garage) which wasn't causing any issues beforehand. Will not connect, make sure its in range. Re-try at least 10 times to no avail. Trying it on my nest camera, still no look, it appears the Nest WiFi router has poor range!

So after all that then am I to believe the nest Wifi router has less range than the BT router that was sent to me from my ISP for free!?!!

After googlng (ironically) recent search results tell me that there was a  software update that seems to have restricted everyone's download speed and they havent fixed it yet?

Is the nest router purposefully designed to go with the hotspots and because of that has a really short range. The garage speaker is about 5m away through 2 walls (at worst)

Google. I just don't understand. Are you giving up on smart homes? Can you please announce it if you are as your products are causing me so much hassle now, it is honestly impacting day to day life at home. I cant relax anymore as anything I attempt to do doesn't work. . The home assistant gives the strangest answers to simple requests like putting on the lights, when it does work it turns on all the lights in the house and answers on a different device. Sometimes it even turns on my av receiver when I ask it to turn off a specific light. Other times it doesn't understand.

Your different products don't seem to work together well at all. Nest products especially, i mean the fire alarms you still sell on your own website don't even connect to the same app?!

I never see any features getting added. What about all the features of the nest devices that you lose if you move to the google home app? What about the new google assistant that you launched on your phones that have never seen the light of day on any other device?

These products just seem like a complete con and are just not fit for purpose. I don't understand how they are getting away with it.

Anyone else as frustrated as me?
