I just upgraded my internet service and modem. I was given a used Nest Wifi system. Internet works for devices connected to modem but while trying to set up the Nest Wifi router through Google Home app it says it can't connect to the internet. My iphone is able to connect to the Nest router though. At first I couldn't connect to Nest router but I pushed the factory reset button on the bottom and that solved that problem.
Internet service is Xfinity. Modem is Hitron CODA DOCSIS 3.1.

Please clear the cache of your Google Home app. Factory reset your Google Nest Wifi device again and make sure you are close to your main point before going through another setup. Share a screenshot of the message that you are getting during the configuration process if the issue persists.

I was able to resolve the issue by calling google. Apparently my ISP needed to issue a new IP address. That fixed it right away! Thanks for your response.
