I am using google nest router + 2 access points during my travels in italy as most airbnb hosts had a router installed 2001. This has worked out pretty great but I am constantly lacking outdoor connectivity, I can place the access points strategically in windows but honestly if there'd be an outdoor access point it would make my life so much easier. Is this on the roadmap? with outdoor space being such a big part of working remotely and summer I am surprised this isn't around yet.

I would also like to see and outdoor AP. Another option would be an outdoor enclosure of some sort. There must be something like this - https://www.polycase.com/wh-16?gclid=Cj0KCQjw-JyUBhCuARIsANUqQ_KTrVnE7fFgjzuiryMmL8DLJoPkqHxDkJU5QGM... that would work for a google ap. This would not assist with the power cord which is clearly not meant for outdoors.

Hi folks,
@Ubiquitousdelay, thanks for the help!
@QUartum, thanks for the help. We don't have any news to share if this would be available. We appreciate people who are keen on sharing with us their thoughts. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback.
Thanks,
Edward

Hi, QUartum.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw Edward's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

I personally think it should be discussed rather than closed as a ticket that is resolved. but if it makes more sense from a support perspective to close it or have it as resolved I suppose you could.
A casing wouldn't be a bad idea, and could be easily 3d printed these days.. but cable would still need to be improved, is there a standard to the power adapter cable for access points? If so could you name it and I'll try to find a version that's suitable for outdoor usage.

Hi, QUartum.
I have sent your comments along as a feature request to our internal teams. They review these requests to see how our customers feel the products could work better for them. You can also submit your own feedback using the Home app. That's generally the best way to get your input across. I think outdoor usage is a great idea! I live on a big property and outdoor coverage would be great.
Thanks.

Hey, everyone.
It looks like we've slowed down here . We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.
Thanks.
