Nest wifi

Is the Google asstant generally bad in wondering If I have a faulty unit as hey google at max sensitivity and even when nothing is playing I need to scream right next to it for jt to activate and listen to me 

Should also add in talking about the Google nest wifi point

It could be many things, even something as simple as the mic hole being cogged or dirty.  I know I can whisper and mine hear me, you might consider retraining your assistant so it triggers easier for you.
