I too took advantage of what I thought was a good offer from T-Mobile Home Internet, and ordered what I assumed were Google Mesh Router & Point system...but received only routers. Take a look at both your units...the point should have speaker holes around the bottom - and not have Ethernet ports. It seems they are sending out only Routers under their promotion.

Just found this post on how to use multiple Nest Wi-fi routers for your home....https://blinqblinq.com/can-you-use-two-google-nest-wifi-routers-together/

Hope this helps....but note I am guessing you don't have a point unit but a second router.

Hey folks,

Appreciate your helpful response, @chris_c.
@Jdbelton02, apologies for the late reply. Thanks for posting ― let's see what's happening.

A few questions:

Does the Google Wifi point in question broadcast a setup SSID? You can check by going through your phone’s list of Wi-Fi networks.
Did you try setting up your Google Wifi point wirelessly or through a wired connection?
What’s the color of the status lights on the other router that was set up successfully?
You mentioned that your point is 20 feet away. Are you able to set it up nearer where the main Nest Wifi router is?
Did you get any message on the Google Home app during setup?
Do you have any switches in your network?

Best,
Abi
