No internet connect -- worked for a year -- suddenly network error

This morning the wifi router gave a network error. Tried the refactory settings, restart modem, checked with ISP if cable modem is working (it does, modem is in bridge). When I try to connect/setuo a new WIFI Router (in Google Home) the setup fails because no internet connection. I have 4 wifi devices (2 routers) all switched off (and resetted first). Tried both routers and still same message. So I can't get a new Wifi Network setup working. What can I do??

Same issues about 1 week ago suddenly the Mesh stopped working poor connectivity. It has been flawless for close to 3 years. I am sure it's a firmware issue.

Reset to factory

Tested direct from my cable modem

Called support did the same things again.... they say move my router closer. It nothing is more than 25" from the base and internet router.

Anyone have a suggested replacement option?

I moved every device to about 10 feet from main device and mesh came up solid, moved them back to original positions and still working. Then this morning getting intermittent outages on Cromecast.  Mesh is still good.

for me it works now, as magic. No changes on my site. Internet connection was up the whole time. So someone is cheating, or the ISP or Google. For me its also very annoying that I am not in control. All circumstances are ok (modem works, internte works, cables are ok) and the router just say "Smth went wrong..bye". No debug or anything you could do...just hope someone or smth change the circumstances..it is what it is...another day thrown away..

Hi, mwjanssen.

It's been some time since you said things were working for you, so I just wanted to follow up again and see if things were still running ok or to see if you've had additional issues. Let me know if you're still all set here or if you need anything else.

Thanks,

- Jeff

Hey, everyone.
It looks like we've slowed down here. We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.

Hi There,

i’ve been using my Google Nest for close to a year now. But I suddenly have issues connecting to the wifi for all my devices. Called my ISP to check on their end and everything seems to be running alright. So it was confirmed to be arouter issue coz  my SmartTV which was using a LAN connection is working fine. I went ahead to change to a band NEW Google Nest wifi set. Changed both the Nest Router and Nest Wifi Add on. SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED….! There was internet connection when i first set up. But about 10 hrs later all devices using wifi cannot get connected again. I have to keep rebooting and resetting the router to factory reset and the cycle continues.. Even the add on nest cannot Mesh with the main router. The main router shows great connection on my google home app, but no devices can get on the wifi connection. Can someone help me find out what is wrong here? I am going crazy. Should I go return it  and get a new one as it is under warranty?
