Offline?

While in the Google home app it shows my entire network as being offline. While it is actually working, however, I cannot monitor it.

Definitely an app issue if the network is working, clear the Google home cache, uninstall the app, reinstall it and see if that clears it up for you.

I just tried you possible solutions and I am still recording the same errors. I also tried it in multiple devices as well a restarting the router.

Strange question but are you logged into the same account as the one you setup the router with? Try signing out of your Google account and signing back in and see if that works.

Thanks for pushing this up, @Ashepherdson

Hey, Gnomenclature. I'm checking into this now and if we need to take it to an internal team. I'll update as soon as I know more.

Thanks.

Hey, everyone.
Just as an update, we're still looking into this issue and as of yet we don't have a solution. I just wanted to touch base so you would know that you haven't been forgotten. In the meantime if anything else changes about your situation, please feel free to update us in the thread. If anyone is seeing improvement as a result of continued troubleshooting, please feel free to share.
Thanks!

Hi Jeff!

I am having this issue too. The app advises the network is offline but I still have full connectivity on all devices.

Home app reset didn't fix this. I have also restarted the router and it shows online again after each restart but then after a few hours it shows offline again.

I left it showing offline for a few days and it came back online again itself eventually without the need of a router restart. I will continue to monitor to see if it shows offline again.

Hey, LavvyHeid.

That's definitely some strange behavior. As of now it's showing online properly? If it goes offline again, please drop a message in here.

Thanks.

Still showing Online and working fine for now.

I'll drop another reply if that changes again.

Thanks for your time. 👍🏻

@Jeff All seems to have stabalized here for me for now. No offline messages for approx 2 weeks now where it was happening almost daily before.

Morning everyone, I am also experiencing this issue.

I tried resetting the home app cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and none of that worked. I unplugged the router and replugged it back in and it at least in this moment is properly showing in the app.

Per the information from everyone else, I'll have to see how long this lasts...

Sorry to hear that you're seeing issues, kage012. Has it remained stable since you went through that power cycle?

I'm having this exact same issue after upgrading to 2GB and having new equipment installed.

This seems pretty similar problem as I have,  the Points (and speakers, hub, and Chromecast) appear to be offline on on Google Home -app, yet they're pretty much online and the wi-fi services (and Google Assistant on each device) are working fine.

Still, as the devices are "offline", I cannot stream any audio to them not configure any speaker groups.
