Hello!
I’ve had my Google WiFi for a while now and have been running fiber for almost a year. The WiFi is perfect besides sometimes it completely breaking down and me needing to fully reset it. But that’s not the problem
Two days ago my PlayStation 5 (out of no where) could no longer get any connection through my WiFi. Whenever I would test the internet connection it would either fail at gaining a internet connection, fail at connecting to PlayStation network (which is where it failed the most) or just be unable to connect in general.
Honestly I’ve tried every single fix that I could find, I changed the DNS to cloud fare/google (and while that helped it simply helped with only confirming that the WiFi would connect 100% of the time). I’ve tried factory resetting my Google WiFi, I’ve tried unplugging and replugging, I’ve checked the security ports making sure nothings blocked, I’ve made sure nothing is paused on my Google home app, I’ve been using wired connection and that isn’t working. I’ve factory reset my ps5, I’ve power cycles both the ps5 and Google WiFi but for some reason the console can never connect to PlayStation.
Im starting this same forum in the PlayStation help as well so if the problem isn’t in the Google end then just let me know!
Thank You!

I have started having the same issue with my Google Fiber during the weekend. I've tried both wireless and wired connections. My friend with Google Fiber is having the same issue. I think something has changed in Google's side.

Same issue. Forwarded ports and everything. It’s not just on the PlayStation 5, I can’t log into PlayStation network on any device. (It works with my cell data so definitely router or google fiber related)

They have confirmed they’re having issues with PSN specifically

This whole weekend I thought we were getting dos’d (it’s happened before), come to find out once I start a chat support session there’s been an issue - all Google had to do was post a notification to customers logging in. Would have saved me so much time troubleshooting.

Do we have any idea how long it’ll last?
