Problems connecting 6 wifi points

I bought a second set of 3-points google wifi and it has been impossible to add them to

my current network/mesh. I have tried with and without direct ethernet cable and there

is no way to make it work. PLEASE HELP!!

Are you sure all points are made for the same region? For instance, pairing US and EU point will not work. There are a lot of posts about this, both here and on Reddit. For instance:

If you are sure all 6 points are made for the same exact region, you could try to set up the new ones one by one as a new, indipendent Google Home home network (create a new temp Google Home home for this), so they get updated to newest firmware, before factory reseting them and try to add them to your existing network.

One way to find out what region you have for a specific unit, if you don't know already, is to go to <it's IP address>/api/v1/status in a web browser. For instance:

Mine says:

  • "countryCode": "nordic"
