Pubic IP of Wifi

There does not seem to be anywhere to see the public IP the router has from the ISP.  I would need to see this to connect from remote location.  This should be a basic component of the router screen.

Being remote means I cannot go to a site to tell me what it is.

Hello @Xeneth

In the Google Home app, tap the "Wifi" bubble, then the "<X> points" bubble, then tap the name of your primary/router under "Nest Wifi router", and finally tap the gear icon in the upper right corner. Under "Wi-Fi information" you should see that router's externally assigned IP address with the "WAN IP" label. This should work from anywhere – not just when you are at that location.

Hi @Xeneth ,

From a device connected to your network, Google 'What's my IP' and this will bring back your public IP Address.

As mentioned, I cannot do that since I am not at the location, so I cannot use the connection from the inside.  I need to be able to see the DHCP entry via the router settings.

Thank you.   I always get the "go to the the internet to see your IP" answer.  I have been looking for this.

For clarification, since this confused me for a moment.  The "<X> points" he mentioned is the "Wifi Devices" under the main screen of Wifi (current version).  This takes you to the "points" tab of the network screen where all your Google Wifi points show.
