Remind Google WiFi mesh from home app

Vadershero

I've use my Google mesh for quite some time and it worked great. Something happened over the last couple months that I couldn't stream shows without buffering, zoom calls cutting out, etc.

I replaced them with a new 6.0 mesh system. Now however the old mesh tiles are in my Google home app. There isn't a "remove device"option. In settings there's nothing besides reboot, but they're now in a box for thrift.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas to remove those tiles.

Thanks in advance

You are not supposed to be able to set up a new Nest Wifi network in the same Google Home home before you've factory reset and deleted the old network:

How to factory reset and thus remove Nest Wifi devices from the Google Home app is described here:

I don't work for Google.

Thanks man. I wondered if that wasn't the case. I'll have to go pull them back out and hook them up again. I didn't install new nest ones, but thought I'd try Netgear. So that's probably why it let me.

This worked great guys. Learned a lesson to

reset then remove the device. Luckily I plugged them back in, hit the button on the back, and they no longer showed in my home app.

Thanks again for all your help
